NETWORKS IN MOTION NAMED FINALIST FOR BREW 2005 DEVELOPER AWARDS

Company’s AtlasBook Wireless Solution Nominated in Most Innovative Use of Technology’ Category

IRVINE, CA–May 25, 2005

Networks In Motion™, a software solutions provider for mobile workforce management and location-based services (LBS), today announced that its AtlasBook navigation software was named as a finalist in the Most Innovative Use of Technology category of the BREW 2005 Developer Awards. The annual event recognizes outstanding applications developed for QUALCOMM’s BREW® solution. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the BREW 2005 Conference, being held June 1-3 in San Diego. Networks In Motion will also demonstrate its suite of LBS applications and developer tools at booth #72 inside the BREW 2005 Partner Pavilion.

“We are excited that AtlasBook has again been recognized as one of the applications that will drive subscriber demand for location-based services on BREW operators’ GPS-enabled networks,” said Doug Antone, president and CEO for Networks In Motion. “Analysts are predicting that location-based solutions, like AtlasBook, will be a driving factor in demand for more sophisticated handsets.”

AtlasBook utilizes a cell phone’s built-in GPS technology to deliver a full suite of tools including real-time turn-by-turn directions, full-color, high-quality maps of the user’s location, and Yellow Pages to search for places nearby. Users can log on to the AtlasBook Web site and store favorite places and trips that they can later retrieve from their phone. These features work together to simplify travel planning, save time on the road and make mobile life more productive. AtlasBook transforms a cell phone into a personal travel guide.
